Optimize Learning Environments

LHB believes true learning environments are flexible, efficient settings that promote safety and improve socialization between students and faculty. Whether you’re planning new construction, renovation or expansion, we use an interactive approach to design that allows us to understand the specific needs of the students, staff and administration in each project. Just as importantly, we consider the facilities spirit, heritage and mission — incorporating architectural and site elements that communicate your culture.

LHB designs buildings with low operating costs through functional, affordable design and construction. We frequently work on renovations and resolve facility issues relative to deferred maintenance, life safety, indoor environment, and educational improvements. If you’re in K-12 education, we can assist in passing your referendum with pre-referendum services that support your vision. If you’re in higher education, we provide master planning and pre-design services to align your project for funding. We work hand-in-hand with stakeholders and drive meaningful conversations to create projects that elegantly meet current needs and endure for the future.
