White Bear Lake School District
LHB designed several projects for the White Bear Lake School District including Oneka Elementary School. Many high performance design features were incorporated into this project as a way to help the district conserve energy and reduce life-cycle costs and maintenance including; site orientation of the new elementary to maximize daylighting and conserve energy.
This new facility is designed to serve 750 pre-K -5 students. LHB’s services included pre-referendum planning, programming, facility design and construction administration. Design considerations included community use spaces funded by the City of Hugo.
