Gitchi Gami State Trail Shroeder to Tofte

Project: Gitchi Gami State Trail Along the North Shore; Shroeder to Tofte, MN

LHB provided full design and construction inspection services for three miles of the Gitchi Gami State Trail in accordance with the federal-aid requirements of Mn/DOT/FHWA. This trail is a paved multi-use recreational trail for bicycling, roller blading and pedestrians. This three mile project is two of twenty-three segments overall. When fully complete the entire trail will be 86 miles from Two Harbors to Grand Marais. The project is funded by TEA-21 and MnDNR Trail Bonding.
