The National Eagle Center is a facility for the education and interpretation of the American Bald Eagle. The facility includes a living aviary, environmental exhibits, classrooms, auditorium, indoor and outdoor viewing space, restrooms and gift shop. The National Eagle Center educates the public on Environmental Stewardship, Native American history, the culture of the region, and the important symbolic role of the bald eagle in the American military. The National Eagle Center is located on a site at the corner of Pembroke Avenue and Lawrence Boulevard in Wabasha, Minnesota, bordering the Mississippi River and the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge and is adjacent to the National Historic District in downtown Wabasha.
