LHB, the lead architect, in conjunction with Workshop Architects were selected to complete the predesign process to gain support for an upcoming referendum on the St. Cloud State’s campus. The existing building was built in multiple phases and, as such, required an in-depth historical analysis of mechanical, electrical, and structural considerations. A robust planning process is being revised to respond to tightening economic conditions. With an overall vision in place and priorities well established, the team worked to break the project into phases in order to adjust to the funding cycle - considering which pieces would have the greatest impact and create momentum for future implementation of the plan.
