Evan has focused on a variety of projects including commercial high-rise office buildings, parking structures, and more exclusively hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. While leading LHB’s Healthcare Focus Group, Evan delivers healthcare planning and programming expertise necessary to providing the highest quality project to our clients.
Being committed to sustainable and high performance design, Kim has been able to work on a variety of historic preservation projects in the downtown Minneapolis area. Over 35 years of experience have offered Kim several design awards on student housing, commercial development, and supportive housing projects.
Rick co-founded LHB’s Green Team in 1992, a multi-discipline team dedicated to incorporating high performance into all projects by educating staff and researching sustainable design techniques; that effort has grown over the last two decades into a firm-wide emphasis on sustainability and high performance.

With over 30 years of experience in heavy industry engineering and construction, Tom supervises site construction managers, safety professionals, and field engineers. His broad spectrum background in engineering and construction help him provide our industrial clients design and contract development, construction management, and project implementation.
Currently leading the Minneapolis office, Michael uses his extensive background in City Planning and Real Estate Development to serve our client’s needs. Being an expert on Tax Increment Finance District Analysis, Michael has assisted 90+ cities with strategic planning for TIF Districts.
Joellyn’s expansive knowledge with firm management in strategic planning, communication, and identifying opportunities for growth has been proven as she’s watched LHB over double in size. Along with her marketing team, Joellyn works to effectively communicate who we are and highlight our unique strengths in every area.
Using his 25 years of experience designing, specifying, and coordinating pipeline engineering projects, Dan is the current manager of the LHB Pipeline Group. Excelling at large scale projects, Dan specializes in the design and construction of linear facilities including liquid and gas pipelines and fiber optic cables.
Kevin, a registered Architect in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota, coordinates project teams and facilitates clear communication between LHB, contractors, stakeholders, and owners. With over 20 years of experience Kevin is well-qualified to meet the clients every request and integrate them into the design.
Joe takes an active role in every project that he is involved with ensures the project’s success through construction. Being well versed in the design of steel, concrete, timber, precast/prestressed, and post-tensioned structures, he has been successful in managing multimillion-dollar industrial structures.
With over 35 years of experience designing for multiple sectors, David has gained an extensive amount of knowledge regarding codes and guidelines essential to designing sustainable and safe projects. Several of David’s industrial projects include facilities that produce paper, chemicals, power, and steel fabrication.

With over 30 years of mechanical design experience and a commitment to sustainable design, David leads LHB’s Building Performance Services initiative. David’s specialties include oversight of design and specification of building mechanical systems, forensic engineering services, preparation of cost estimates, and coordination with contractors.
