Project Type: New Construction
Client: Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative
Prior Crossing is a five-story, 44-unit apartment building that serves young adults who are aging out of foster care or who were formerly homeless. Located adjacent to the Central Corridor light rail line, the site also has a large private rear yard with a garden, trellised seating area, and basketball half-court to provide respite from the urban scene on the front of the building. The Community Room window wall faces the patio and garden area. The building features bold colors and shapes in key areas to add youthful character and identity to the residence.
